Excellent conditions for businesses have turned the City of Muellheim into a highly valued location for successful businesses as well as good living. The city is the center of one of the fastest growing regions in the whole Upper-Rhine Valley Region. Being the center of the „Markgraeflerland“ Muellheim represents the most important location in the region in terms of education, administration and commerce. The development of both, of persons living and working in Muellheim is characterized by strong growth when compared to national and regional figures. Currently more then 18,500 inhabitants and additional 2,000 members of the German-French Army-Brigarde are living in Muellheim. Predictions show further growth for Muellheim and ist seven attached communities. As a city with outstanding family-friendliness, Muellheim accounts for 5,000 pupils and has capacities for more than 600 children in kindergardens and crèches – far more than average.
